Kunes GMC of Beloit is a Proud Milestone Sponsor of the Wheel Run for Meals

At Kunes GMC of Beloit, we believe in supporting our community, which is why we are honored to be a Milestone Sponsor for the Wheel Run for Meals. This event directly benefits Beloit Meals on Wheels, helping provide nutritious meals and essential support to local seniors, ensuring they can maintain their independence and well-being.

 

This race welcomes everyone—whether you're a competitive runner, a casual jogger, or simply looking to walk for a great cause.

About the Race

Location: 1534 Shore Drive (Corner of Maple Avenue and Shore Drive), Beloit, WI
Date: May 17, 2025
Race Options: 10K Run or 5K Run/Walk
Timing: Chip-timed

 

The race course is flat and scenic, following the Rock River, crossing the Ken Hendricks Memorial Bridge, and passing through Riverside Park’s Steve Gregg Memorial Path. It’s a great opportunity to challenge yourself while supporting an important cause.

Race Day Schedule

Packet Pickup:

  • May 16th, 2:00 - 6:30 PM at Beloit Meals on Wheels Office (1534 Shore Drive)
  • May 17th, 7:30 - 8:30 AM (Race Day)

 

Registration: 7:30 - 8:30 AM
Announcements: 8:45 AM
Race Start: 9:00 AM (10K and 5K waves)

Awards & Prizes

  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers in each age group for the 5K and 10K
  • Top male and female overall finishers in the 5K and 10K receive a $100 prize

Registration Fees

By May 16th:

 

  • Adults: $20
  • Children (under 17): $15 (includes t-shirt)

 

Race Day:

 

  • Adults: $25
  • Children (under 17): $20 (includes t-shirt)

 

Optional Race Shirts: Available for an additional $15 (must order by May 2nd).

 

All proceeds go directly to Beloit Meals on Wheels, ensuring seniors in our community receive warm, nutritious meals and personal connections through volunteer visits.

Additional Information

  • Parking: Free and available near the Beloit Meals on Wheels office and within three blocks of the start/finish line.
  • Safety Guidelines: No rollerblades, skateboards, strollers, or pets allowed on the course.
